What is a "translation page"
A translation page is a standard unit for text volume, not a physical sheet of paper. In Bulgaria, a typical document (for example a diploma or certificate) may contain more than one translation page, while a short certificate may have less than one.
The standard we use is 1,800 characters with spaces — this is one of the most common standards on the Bulgarian translation market. The volume is calculated based on the final translated text, not the source document, because different languages "expand" or "contract" the text during translation.
Why this matters to you
The price of the translation is formed by the number of translation pages, not by the number of sheets in the original document. That is why when reviewing your file you will always receive the exact number of translation pages and the final price before confirming the order — no surprises afterwards.
If the document contains tables, stamps, handwritten text or non-standard formatting, this is taken into account additionally when estimating the volume.
